In advance of the fall 2022 academic year, the College Communications Department is asking faculty, staff and administrators to update their Outlook Email signatures, so as to create consistency in Email communications across campus and to external constituents.
Instructions on how to update your Email signature for MAC Outlook and Outlook for PCs can be found below or by visiting the Creative & Web Services page on the Canisius portal. Click here for more detailed instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OUTLOOK ON PC
(The following instructions are for the Outlook desktop version)
- Before beginning, be sure to sign into the Canisius Portal
- Download Canisius logo here [link to logo]
- Open Outlook
- Click on File > Options > Mail
- Open Signatures
- Click on existing signature to edit or add a new signature
- Click on Insert Picture icon to add logo
- Enter information (see below for appropriate font type and size)
- Save changes

Title – 10 pt. Calibri Bold

- Open Outlook
- Open Preferences
- Open Signatures
- Click on existing signature to edit or add a new signature
- Go to > Format > Insert Logo at the top of the Signatures window
- Enter Information (see below for appropriate font type and size)
- Save changes
