Sometimes the hardest part about seeking help for mental health can be finding the right provider for your personal needs. With May being Mental Health Awareness month, take some time to read the article, above, by Lawley Insurance Group, which gives an overview of each type of mental health professional along with recommendations on how to start the process of getting the help you need, and the right fit.
As a reminder to all faculty and staff, Canisius College offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), which offers a variety of services to promote well-being. This includes free, confidential counseling, assessment and referral services to all employees.
For more resources and information related to family support, legal assistance, fitness, mental health resources and work-related help, call 1-800-386-7055 (available 24/7), Email eapcounselor@ibhcorp.com or visit www.ibhworklife.com with the login information below.
