The kittens on campus are receiving a great deal of attention these days.

On Thursday, April 28, The Buffalo News and Channels 2, 4 and 7 visited the Margaret Wendt Animal Behavior Lab in Science Hall to get a first-hand look at the ongoing training and enrichment exercises of these furry felines.

Canisius students are teaching the eight-week old kittens how to walk into carriers on their own, how to complete small agility courses and how to high-five.  The training and enrichment exercises are aimed at making the kittens more attractive adoption candidates and encouraging positive relationships with humans.
