Canisius Named a Top School for Online Master’s in Sports Management

Canisius College has been ranked fifth in the nation for its online master’s degree in sports management by the website OnlineMastersDegrees.org.

The organization researched and analyzed more than 7,700 accredited schools using data from the Integrated Post-secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and from the schools themselves.  Canisius’ recognition comes at a time when enrollment in master’s degree programs is on the rise.  The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) reported a 7.3 percent increase in first-time graduate student enrollment.  The CGS report cites the growth of online and hybrid options as the primary driver of these trends.
