The Institute for Classical and Medieval Studies introduces the ICMS Book Club. Part of its lunchtime Brown Bag Seminar series, the book club will introduce and review fiction and non-fiction books relevant to the ICMS’s fields of interest.
On Thursday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. in OM 418, we will look at Dan Jones’ The Templars: The Rise & Spectacular Fall of God’s Holy Warriors (2017). These sessions are non-scholarly, informal and relaxed, and are free and open to the public. No prior reading of the book is required. No prior knowledge of the subject is needed. Masks are required for in-person attendees or join us over Facebook Live. Bring your lunch and join the conversation.
