The Buffalo Humanities Festival takes place this weekend (September 18-19) at Silo City, focusing on the theme of Utopia.  The events have been planned with social distancing and safety in mind, and this year there is no admission charge, though registration is required.

As in past years, Canisius is one of the Festival’s institutional sponsors, and Canisius faculty are featured.  On Sunday at 2:30 p.m., Anita Butera, Secil Ertorer and Richard Reitsma are presenting what promises to be a fascinating discussion of “The Search for (N)everland:  Migration, Utopia/Dystopia.”

For further details, including the full schedule of events, directions to Silo City and an outline of this year’s Covid protocols,  go to the festival’s website.

To register (free but required) click here.

Join others from Canisius and from the Buffalo community for a fun afternoon out (or two!)
