With help from the Canisius women’s basketball team, the Mayor’s Summer Youth Winslow Block Club, The Upper Room Church, Gail Wells of Freedom Gardens and De’yron Tabb of PUSH Buffalo, the Jefferson Avenue garden beds were built and filled with soil this week.
We will hold a community meeting on August 31, at 5:30 p.m. at Upper Room Church to create a vision and plan for the garden with our neighbors’ input. All are welcome to attend and get involved!
