Introduction to Microsoft365 and OneDrive

Those using Google Drive to create and share documents and files will be right at home using Microsoft365 to compete similar tasks.

Microsoft365 (MS365) is a powerful service by Microsoft that Canisius College faculty, staff and students have access to. It includes Office365 (web-based, online Microsoft Office and other programs) and OneDrive (cloud-based storage with some Office365 integration).

MS365 is accessible to students and useful for those who primarily use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. As noted before, MS365 allows access to online versions of these products. The online versions are hardly different from the ones located on the Desktop version.

Another useful tip is to use PowerPoint to record audio or video. Record right on the Office365 version or upload the PowerPoint to Office365 and share it with students without losing recordings. There are many other tools to integrate into courses to make them more interactive for students.
