IGNATIAN logo_2021 with date.pngEach year, Canisius College looks forward to celebrating  students’ accomplished work from the current or previous semester at Ignatian Scholarship Day. With the ongoing pandemic and to keep our community safe, the 14th annual Ignatian Scholarship Day (ISD) will be held virtually over a series of days, April 19-23, 2021.

ISD projects are comprised of various forms of expression including poster presentations, long presentations (formally called oral or digital presentations), two- or three- dimensional art presentations and artistic performances.  This year, ISD submissions will need to be both (1) a pre-recorded video presentation and (2) a synchronous virtual 30-minute maximum question and answer session.  The type of project selected will determine the length of the pre-recorded presentation.

Students can apply for ISD 2021 using the online application located on the ISD portal page.

Applications will be accepted Wednesday, February 24 through Friday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m.

Faculty members are asked to review and endorse applications by Wednesday, March 24.

To apply or endorse Ignatian Scholarship Day submissions, please visit the Ignatian Scholarship Day page on the academic affairs community page. To find information on how to prepare for ISD, visit the ISD FAQ page. For more information, contact the Office of Event Services.
