It’s not every day that a Canisius alumna/us lands on the pages of The New Yorker but such is the case this week.

The magazine featured Molly A. Burhans in its Feburary 1 edition. Burhans is a 2014 alumna of Canisius College and daughter of Computer Science Professor Debra T. Burhans, PhD. She is also the founder of GoodLands, an organization whose mission is to mobilize the Catholic Church to use its land for good.

The New Yorker article, titled “How a Young Activist is Helping Pope Francis Battle Climate Change,” can be read by clicking here.
