Using the video here, you will be able to export information about your students in a given course in D2L.
This information can include students’ first and/or last name, which can be used for an attendance roster outside of D2L. The information can also include grades, which must be kept for five years minimum for ease of access. This is because, while D2L does keep those grades for the five-year minimum, it becomes more difficult to access those grades after a student graduates.
You can also export student Email addresses, which can be a way to easily share a file or folder on Google Drive if needed. All that and more information can be exported from D2L should you choose. Information exported this way can be in either CSV format or Excel Spreadsheet.
