It is often difficult to know what to do and how to respond when microaggressions occur, especially in the presence of others. Microaggressions can impact a faculty member’s ability to teach, a student’s ability to learn and lead one to question his/her sense of belonging.
This faculty-led discussion is geared toward instructors who are seeking advice on how to handle microaggressions, while using these classroom experiences as teachable moments.
