Several media outlets reported on the 2021 U.S. News & World Report rankings, which were released on Monday, September 14 and saw Canisius climb to the No. 1 spot among Best Value colleges and universities in New York State.
Buffalo Business First reported on Canisius’ Best Value ranking in the state, and reported the college as the third best value among 73 regional universities in the North.

The college was also included in a Buffalo News article about the different ways in which local colleges and universities are informing their campus communities about the spread of Covid-19, if any.
While private colleges are bound by the same state rules on when to shut down, they are not required to publicly share information about their Covid-19 cases on the state’s website. As a result, area colleges have taken different approaches to keep their communities informed.
