Journey’s End Refugee Services is holding an online book event and community discussion with Jessica Goudeau, PhD, author of the highly acclaimed new book The Last Border: Two Families And The Stories of Refuge in America. Goudeau will speak along with Syrian refugee Beri Wais, whose family was resettled by Journey’s End.
This virtual event, brought to you by the Journey’s End WNY Refugee Film Festival and supported by Talking Leaves Books, will take place on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m. For more info and to register, click here.
