These pictures were shared with us from the Student Programming Board, which hosted such a fun event for our new and returning Canisius students.

Trivia Wednesday

Well … this is it folks. The final week of Trivia, as the college prepares to conclude it’s one-year celebration of its Sesquicentennial. If you haven’t played yet, now is your last chance to test your Canisius knowledge and compete for some college swag.

This week’s giveaway question is: What year did Canisius open its doors to women in all academic day divisions?

Congratulations to last week’s Trivia winner, Shannon R. Jemiolo, PhD, assistant professor of accounting. Shannon will be receiving some Canisius swag on behalf of the College Communications team.

Last week’s Trivia question was: How many student clubs and organizations are currently offered at Canisius:

The correct answer was: (d) 90+

COLI’s Quick Essentials

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) has created tutorials and other resources to help faculty get the most out of internet tools for teaching. Here are some links to keep handy throughout the semester, as you teach your classes:

Students have their own set of D2L Self-Paced Training resources, available on the D2L My Home Screen. If you use Google Drive to share content with your students, you might add this tutorial to your course space, which shows them how to quickly log into their Canisius Google account: https://youtu.be/SsXjLwnkaKo.
