Solidarity Across Borders Campaign

In collaboration with the Jesuit Conference Office of Justice and Ecology and Kino Border initiative, the Ignatian Solidarity Network (ISN) launched a campaign in late June called Solidarity Across Borders.

The campaign is aimed at creating solidarity between migrants and advocates by sharing migration stories. When you visit the campaign site, you’ll have access to stories illustrating the realities of migrants at the border and undocumented immigrants living in the U.S., including the inhumane policies they face.

Ready to Help

The Canisius College Help Desk, staffed by ITS User Services, stands ready to assist you with information technology problems, concerns and possibilities in your work at the college. You can quickly contact the Help Desk by Email at helpdesk@canisius.edu or visit http://helpdesk.canisius.edu.

Questions addressed to the ITS Help Desk regarding D2L, Google Drive, Qualtrics and other applications are efficiently routed to COLI staff. This is a better option than Emailing individual COLI or ITS staff members, since it allows many COLI and ITS employees to see and assist with your questions, resulting in better response times. Where concerns overlap between COLI and ITS divisions, we can easily work together to assist you.

Before you contact the ITS Help Desk, save time by visiting the COLI Wiki and browsing various self-paced training resources. We are continually updating these with new and better guides and tutorials.

Adjunct Faculty Information Session

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) invites all new, returning and current adjunct professors to an Adjunct Faculty Information Session to help prepare you to teach during the fall 2020 semester. Learn about employee resources, the library, the college mission, and technology for teaching and learning.

This remote meeting takes place on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. via Zoom Web Conferencing.
