It’s Trivia Tuesday!
The campus community is invited to watch The Dome for special “Trivia Tuesdays,” which will be published in every Tuesday edition throughout the summer. The first person to respond to pubrel@canisius.edu with the correct answer will win Canisius “swag.” Additionally, once a month on Tuesdays, there will be a special giveaway in which the winner will receive some of the newly designed Canisius Sesquicentennial gear.
Winners will be announced the following Tuesday of each week along with the correct trivia answer.

It’s time to register for your employee parking tag for 2020-21. Current tags expire on August 15, 2020. Simply go to myCanisius; login with username and password; click on Campus Services (left side), click Purchase Parking – follow the prompts – make sure to “submit” OR simply click on the link below.
Please note, Emeriti faculty should hold on registering for parking at this time. Additional information and a special link to register will be sent to you separately.
- Your Canisius username and password
- If you are not paying via payroll deduction, your credit card or checking/savings account information for payment
- Vehicle description (year, make, model, color)
- Vehicle license plate number
You can pay via payroll deduction, credit or webcheck. Your tag will be sent to you, once you’ve registered and paid, via interoffice mail.
If you pay with cash, you must still register online but will need to pay at the Student Records and Financial Services Office in BA-106, at which time you will receive your tag.

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) invites all new, returning and current adjunct professors to an Adjunct Faculty Information Session to help prepare for teaching during the fall 2020 semester. Learn about employee resources, the library, the college mission, and technology for teaching and learning.
We are offering two sessions, that each feature the same presentations and information:
- Monday, August 24, 2020, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.
- Wednesday, August 26, 2020, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Zoom.
This is a fantastic way to get up to speed quickly on the essentials for teaching at Canisius College. Adjunct faculty who are teaching at Canisius for the first time this fall can benefit but returning adjunct instructors are also welcome.

On Wednesday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m., Secil Ertorer, PhD, from the Department of Sociology, Environmental Studies and Criminal Justice, will be speaking at the Lily Dale Assembly 2020 Women’s Day event.
