A discussion of people who refer to themselves as “spiritual but not religious” was the focus of this past Sunday’s edition of “Crossroads.”

Program host Jonathan Lawrence, PhD, associate professor of religious studies and theology, interviewed Rev. Dr. Lori Keller-Burns, pastor of Kenilworth United Church of Christ, about this group of individuals who value spiritual ideas but may not identify with one particular religious group. Keller-Burns wrote her thesis on this topic and studied certain traditional nomadic groups as a source of comparison for those who consider themselves spiritual but not religious.

“Crossroads” is a monthly radio program produced by the Network of Religious Communities. It airs on the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 a.m. on MIX-96 (96.1 FM) and at 6:30 a.m. on JACK-FM (92.9).

If you missed the Sunday, May 3 broadcast, you can catch it now on the Canisius SoundCloud.
