Freshman pre-med Student, Josef Iqbal, wants to make a difference.

“With the coronavirus (COVID-19) currently affecting nearly every country throughout the world and a confirmed case count well into the millions, it has proven itself to be one of the biggest challenges this generation has had to face,” said Iqbal.

Western New York has been no exception to these troubling times, and in an effort to help the countless people struggling in our local community during this pandemic, he has decided to launch a COVID-19 shirt fundraiser.

Services that provide resources to those in need are necessary now more than ever, which is why 100% of the profits generated from the sale of these shirts will be split evenly and donated to the FeedMore Western New York COVID Relief Fund, WNY Feeds the Frontline and the United Way WNY COVID-19 Community Response Fund.

You can view and order your #WNYSTRONG shirt until May 4 via the following link:

https://www.bonfire.com/wny-covid-relief-shirt/

By purchasing a #WNYSTRONG shirt, you can showcase your strength and resilience during these hard times while also helping provide for those in need throughout our community.

If you have any questions, feel free to Email Iqbal at iqbalj@canisius.edu.
