Learning from community partners is continuing at Canisius.
Erin Van Lente from People Against Trafficking Humans (P.A.T.H. Buffalo) visited our virtual sociology classes on April 22 and shared the facts and personal stories about human trafficking. Students learned about new forms of slavery and forced labor, as well as ways to identify red flags that can signal victims or perpetrators. P.A.T.H. offers free lectures, volunteering and internship opportunities to Canisius students.
