On Saturday, March 7, students from all over WNY competed in the WNY Regional History Day competition at Canisius College in Science Hall Commons. The BPS sent 57 students to the contest, with 23 of them qualifying for NYS History Day on April 27. At the WNY History Day Regional competition, the top 3 finishers in each category are honored for their hard work, and the 1st and 2nd place entries will qualify for the state contest held in Cooperstown, NY in April. The top 2 entries from NYS in each category will advance to the national finals held in College Park, MD each June. Kudos to the 57 students and their teachers for their winning entries in this annual educational event!
