Canisius College is dedicated to excellence in academics.  From time-to-time, emergencies arise where campus resources – classrooms, internet tools, or even the campus itself – are not available.  We are committed to continuing to teach and learn nonetheless.  If certain internet tools suddenly become unavailable, we can adapt using traditional means, such as face-to-face meetings and paper printing.  If the campus or at least some classrooms become unavailable, we have practices developed for high-quality online education, that can help us modify our courses for online teaching and learning.

The Academic Affairs Division offers a variety of resources and opportunities to help faculty prepare to move face-to-face courses online, in response to an emergency where classrooms are no longer available:
