B&M W Spring 2020 Main FINAL FINAL.pdf -2

The Canisius College Borders & Migration Week 2020 gets underway on Tuesday, March 24. The initiative will run through Thursday, April 2 and include a series of events, which are free and open to the public.

The Canisius College Border Initiative is a collaborative space where Canisius students, faculty, and staff, together with members of the Western New York Community work to understand and support the lives of immigrants and refugees around the globe.

The Border Initiative develops programs, events and opportunities for our community to support justice for migrants, refugees, and those who meet and cross borders.   It is guided by the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, which insists that different perspectives, reflection and action intersect so that we become women and men for others.
