ArtsCanisius Presents Informally Formal Recitals

ArtsCanisius is proud to present two Informally Formal recitals next week in the Montante Cultural Center.

Timothy Smith, BPO trombonist, will present a recital on Tuesday March 10 at 8:00 p.m. $5 student/faculty/staff tickets are available at canisius.edu/artscanisius. Click here to add this event to your calendar.

Jaman E. Dunn, BPO assistant conductor, will conduct a chamber orchestra concert Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free with a donation at the door. Click here to add this event to your calendar.

Faculty Writing Retreat

Kick off your spring break productivity with the Writing Center! On March 16 and 17 from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Office of Academic Affairs and the Writing Center will co-host a two-day writing retreat for faculty in the Writing Center located in the library. Coffee, light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.

Next Steps for Fundraising on Giving Day!

In preparation for Giving Day 2020, scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, the Canisius Fund Team is communicating with program directors and/or the respective contact for the programs, institutes, teams, etc. that have opted in to fundraise on Giving Day. With the 24-hour fundraising campaign less than two months away, it’s now time to begin submitting content for your respective campaign pages.

This information has been communicated via Email to those who have opted in to fundraise, and is also below:

  • Copy and images for campaign pages due! Please email Suli Calianno (lyons@canisius.edu) with any copy and images that you would like to appear on your campaign page no later than Thursday, March 19. To reference your page from last year, visit https://www.canisiusgivingday.com/leaderboards (you can access your campaign page by clicking on your respective program from the Giving Day 2019 Leaderboards).
  • Submit your list request! If you will need the Canisius Fund Office to provide an email list of graduates from your program, please notify Suli Calianno (lyons@canisius.edu) no later than Monday, March 23. List requests submitted after the deadline may not be honored.

The Canisius Fund Team is here to support those fundraising on Giving Day so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. You can contact the Canisius Fund Office at Ext. 2712.
