Special thanks to Tim Wadkins and Tom Chambers for sharing their experience with writing successful grant applications focused in the humanities, and how receiving grants has benefited them. Attendees received valuable information related to the grant process and how the sponsored programs office at Canisius can assist faculty interested in pursuing their research with grant funding. In addition to this event, Mary Ann Langlois holds a monthly grant writing group meeting, which gives faculty the opportunity to discuss their research, receive valuable feedback from their peers and assistance submitting grant applications.
