Tune into “Crossroads” this Sunday, February 2 when Allyson D. Backstrom, PhD, sits down with program host Rev. Patrick J. Lynch, SJ, to discuss the latest service opportunities available to students in the Dr. George E. Schreiner ’42 Pre-Med Center.

Backstrom is director of the Pre-Med Center.  During the broadcast, she’ll provide listeners with a brief explanation about the pre-health programs offered at Canisius.  Backstrom will then share details about the various local, regional and international service opportunities available to students in the program.  Those opportunities include students providing dental care at Harvest House, working at a pop-up clinic in Ashtabula, OH and serving as health care volunteers in Costa Rica.
