High school students from McKinley, MST Bennett, MST Seneca, Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts and Sweet Home High Schools will visit Canisius College today, Friday, November 8 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for an informational day of college life.
The Office of Admissions will lead college tours for the students as well as a special athletic tour at the Koessler Athletic Center, where they will be greeted by John Maddock, senior associate athletic director for external affairs.
Prior to the college tours, students will see the movie “Off The Glass,” which tells the story of Ritchie Campbell, who will be the keynote speaker and special guest of the day. Following the viewing, there will be a discussion with students about the importance of following their dreams and getting a college education.
Campbell was most recently interviewed by Claudine Ewing of WGRZ Channel 2 in May 2017. The topic was “Rise, Fall, Redemption.”
