Alpha Sigma Nu Fall Lunch and Learn Webinar

Alpha Sigma Nu will host a lunch and learn webinar on Wednesday, October 16 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Andrew L. Bouwhuis library Room 103.

Joan Rosenhauer, executive director of Jesuit Refugee Services / USA, will present a talk entitled “Helping Refugees Build Their Future and Ours.”

All-College Honors Fall Lecture

The All-College Honors Program will welcome David O’Connor, PhD, professor of philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, to campus on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Grupp Fireside Lounge for its fall lecture. O’Connor will discuss “Love and Self-Sufficiency in Ancient Greek Thought.”

The event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored the Philosophy and Classics departments.

The Women’s Business Center: Getting Certified 101

The Women’s Business Center at Canisius will offer a “Getting Certified 101” course on Thursday, October 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in Science Hall 063.

Learn about women and minority certification processes from federal, state and city/county representatives and what it would mean for your business to be certified!
