St. Joseph Cathedral was filled with Canisius alumni, faculty and staff and friends of the college to celebrate the Sesquicentennial Mass.
The Very Rev. John J. Cecero, S.J., USA Northeast Provincial, served as the celebrant for the Mass. Rev. David S. Ciancimino, S.J., president, Canisius High School; Rev. Michael P. Corcoran, S.J.. campus minister, Canisius High School and Rev. Thomas R. Slon, S.J., rector, Canisius College were concelebrants.
President John Hurley did the first reading at Mass, which was from Exodus.
