A Turkish Anthropologist Joins ICMS for Tea and a Talk

The Institute for Classical and Medieval Studies (ICMS) invites the campus community to its first Tea & Talk of the year on Friday, September 13 in the Grupp Fireside Lounge. Dr. Bulent Arikan from the Istanbul Technical University Department of Ecology & Evolution will speak on the impact of agriculture and herding on biodiversity and erosion near ancient settlements in Anatolia (modern Turkey).

Tea and Talk begins with tea at 2:00 p.m. followed by the talk at 2:30 p.m. This event, co-sponsored by Digital Humanities, is free and open to the public.

Because of this event, Classics Tea@2 on Sept. 13th is cancelled. Join us in Grupp!
