Jennifer Desiderio, PhD, associate professor of English, was recently admitted to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Seminar at Cornell University, which takes place Sunday, June 16 – Friday, June 28. Desiderio was selected from a national applicant pool to attend one of 20 summer seminars and institutes supported by the NEH. She will participate in a seminar entitled “Writing and Democracy in Western New York.”
The endowment is a federal agency that supports enrichment opportunities at colleges, universities and cultural institutions so faculty can work in collaboration and study with experts in humanities disciplines.
