The Art History Department is accepting artwork to be displayed as part of a silent auction to raise funds for arts organizations. Please consider submitting artwork in any media for the second annual Art Show Fundraiser which will take place on Wednesday, April 10 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Science Hall Commons.
Last year, the Art History Department sold more than 70 works of art and raised more than $300, which was donated to the Buffalo Arts Studio and A Blade of Grass. Those artworks were submitted by students and faculty, and ranged from photographs, paintings, computer art, ceramics and handknit wear. This year, clients at Baker Victory Services will participate and offer handmade note cards, jewelry and gourmet spice rubs.
