For the first time in five seasons, a Canisius home basketball game will be televised on national TV. ESPNU will be on site to broadcast the men’s basketball game on Friday, March 1 at 9:00 p.m. against Siena at the KAC. Click here to add this event to your calendar.
To accommodate fans arriving early, The Griffin Den will open at 7:00 p.m. and feature a $10 buffet and $3 beverages. It is open to everyone.
Friday, March 1 is also senior night for the following players: Jibreel Faulkner, Jonathan Sanks and Marcale Lotts. They will be honored in a pre-game ceremony. Senior members of the cheer team will be saluted at halftime, as will Canisius’s top three finishers in the MAAC swimming and diving championships.
Tickets are available by calling (716) 888-8499. Canisius and Siena were in a four way tie for second place at the beginning of the week. The Saints feature freshman Jalen Pickett, who netted 46 points in a game earlier this month.
