Join the Fine Arts Department for an artist’s talk and reception celebrating the opening of Ann Moody’s “Expanding the Grid” on Friday, March 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Vogt Gallery in Lyons Hall.

The new works by Ann Moody allude to the diverse uses of the grid – a structure that has served as a favorite motif of the early 20th century avant-garde as well as an underlying framework in contemporary comic book layouts and a traditional basis for quilt making – blurring the distinction between art and craft and high and lowbrow forms of visual creativity.

Ann Moody’s “Expanding the Grid” will be on display through Tuesday, April 16.
