Marketing Campaign Highlights

During the next few weeks, the Office of Marketing and Brand Engagement will share highlights and updates from its 2018-19 undergraduate and graduate marketing campaigns which launched in August and continue throughout the spring.

Digital Audio 

Advertising on the audio streaming services Spotify and Pandora is an important component of our digital marketing strategy. These ads help to build awareness for Canisius within WNY and in target markets outside of the region where buying traditional radio would be unaffordable. Like other digital tactics, audio streaming is an efficient way to target individual students and households who are in the market for college, without the waste that typically occurs with broadcast. And thanks to the power of artificial intelligence, the more we advertise, the more precise our targeting becomes. So unless you’re a high school student or have a son or daughter heading to college, you probably won’t hear these ads – but know that it’s because we’re taking advantage of technology to efficiently deploy our campaigns.
