What does it mean to represent Catholic education when it comes to race and racism? What is the legacy about racism in the U.S. Catholic Church? If you’ve been wondering, join the Religious Studies and Theology Department to discuss this topic.
All faculty, staff and students are welcome to an informal reading group on Wednesday, January 30 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. in the library instruction room. The group will read the book Racial Justice and the Catholic Church (Orbis Books, 2010) by Rev. Bryan Massingale, professor of theological and social ethics at Fordham University, and then discuss the first two chapters of the book.
