Ol’ Saint Nick visited the Canisius campus on Saturday for the college’s annual Breakfast with Santa. Hosted by the President’s Office, the morning event included a full breakfast for campus faculty and staff and their families, as well as arts and crafts activities, cookie decorating, a holiday performance and pictures with Mr. Claus.
Thanks to the entire Breakfast with Santa planning committee, all of whom did so much to make Saturday’s event a memorable one for the children. The committee included Laura McEwen and her graduate assistant Jennifer Manzella, Kelly Harper, Paula Ferjado-Heyward, Sydnie Perkins and John Occhipinti. Special thanks to Greg Wood, PhD, aka “Santa.” Also thanks to Connie Pileri in Event Services and her team, and a number of volunteers including students, faculty, staff and members of their families and friends who helped with set up, craft activities and clean up. We had some corporate partners too who supported the event – Chartwells, New Era, Balloon Masters and Sion Photography.
