After approximately 43 years, Lilly Adams-Dudley, director and associate dean of the Office of Canisius’ Opportunity Programs for Education (COPE), will retire and move to Conyers, GA.

Adams-Dudley’s accomplishments during her tenure at Canisius include titles ranging from program director, assistant director, writing lab instructor, language arts specialist and more. She attended Canisius College where she received her bachelor of arts degree in English and a master’s of science degree in educational administration and education. Adams-Dudley also received special awards and recognitions including Who’s Who Among Professional and Executive Women, Who’s Who Among Black Americans and induction into the DiGamma Alpha Honor Society. She was also part of professional organizations such as the American Association of Black Women in Higher Education and the American Association of University Women. Additionally, she has written many grants, proposals and field readers.
