Sara Morris, associate vice president for academic affairs, is offering five workshops to train faculty and staff on the Courseleaf CIM (Curriculum Inventory Management) systems.  Training will include how all of the Courseleaf modules are interrelated (what goes where), how the modules interact with Banner, and how workflow operates.

The CIM system can be used to propose new courses, modify existing courses (and request core designations), and propose or modify curriculum requirements for majors, minors or graduate programs.  This training is recommended for any current or future chairs or program directors, faculty members who intend to develop new courses or add core curriculum designations to current courses, faculty members who oversee minors or other curricula, administrative associates to academic departments, or anyone interested in the integration of the curriculum, catalog, and section schedule.

The workshops are being offered on the following days and times:

  • Wednesday, November 14 / 2:00-4:00 p.m. / OM119 – Click here to add this to your calendar
  • Thursday, December 13 / 1:30-3:30 p.m. / OM119 – Click here to add this to your calendar
  • Thursday, January 10 / 1:00-3:00 p.m. / SH 002C (the ITS conference room) – Click here to add this to your calendar

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops if they intend to use them for this process.  If you have new courses to propose, edits to make to existing courses, or changes to make to your curriculum (including the addition of new electives), those can be completed during the workshop.
