The Canisius College Education Technologies Program is hosting a second FREE webinar series on practical applications of technology in the classroom. During each session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the technologies modeled. Participants will also earn Continuing Leadership and Leadership Education (CTLE) credits!

Our second session will be held Tuesday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. Robert Zdrojewski, Canisius Ed Tech professor and the K-12 director of instructional technology at Oakfield-Alabama Central Schools, will host a session on using screencasting and the flipped classroom.

The Art of Screencasting: Keys to Flipped Learning

Learn how to create a “digital YOU” using Chromebooks, Windows or Mac! We will explore how educators have “flipped” direct instruction into screencasting so students now have anytime, anywhere access to teacher-produced screencasts. When combined with an online learning platform like Schoology, teachers can create a 24-7 personalized learning environment! We will also explore the latest offerings for becoming Level 1 Flipped Learning Certified by FL Global, as well as hear the challenges that were overcome to ensure all students can view screencasts even without wifi.
