On Tuesday, November 13 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the glass box room located in the Andrew L. Bouwhuis library, the Art History Department will host a Makerspace as a part of the International Education Week list of activities.

Words with Friends and Scrabble are very popular word games in the U.S. but what happens when foreign words are “accepted” in an arbitrary fashion? People can use sí but not oui or ja?

The Art History Department has created Multilingual Scrabble. Please encourage participants to bring a dictionary or access to one online. Art History will provide Scrabble sets in many languages (including Arabic) and look forward to some healthy competition. This Makerspace event is supported by the generosity of Taheri and Todoro PC.
