If you missed Rebecca Krawiec, PhD, speak at the 2018-19 Digital Humanities Speaker Series on Tuesday, October 16, you can now view a video recording of her presentation at the Canisius Digital Humanities website. Watch for another Digital Humanities Speaker Series presentation in the near future, advertised here in The Dome.
The October event began with a presentation by the professor and chair of the Religious Studies and Theology Department, in which she described Coptic Scriptorium, a digital resource constructed by a team of scholars in several fields at many colleges and universities. The project provides new opportunities and avenues of inquiry for scholars working on texts in the Coptic language. Krawiec’s presentation followed with a lively discussion where faculty and students explored various aspects and implications of the project.
