The Halloween (Howl-o-ween) spirit isn’t just for kids or Canisius students.  Faculty and staff also enjoy celebrating.  Interesting characters were seen in Health Science last Wednesday, October 31 including the Harry Potter-inspired biology faculty (left) and the animal-inspired ABEC faculty and staff (right).

Vigil for Pittsburgh

Members of the Canisius community joined Campus Ministry and Peace Action Canisius on Friday evening, November 2, to mourn the victims of the recent synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh. Eleven people were killed and several others injured when a gunman walked into the Tree of Life Synagogue and opened fire on Saturday, October 27.

Dads and Daughters Dollar Day

Calling all dads and daughters! The Athletic Department’s 3rd annual Dollar Day is Friday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center. The Canisius women’s basketball team opens its season under new coach Scott Hemer. The Griffs host Miami of Ohio at 7:00 p.m. All tickets and selected items at the merchandise store and concession stand are $1.
