Constitution Day, September 17, is the day on which colleges and universities, as mandated by federal law, recognize and celebrate the signing of the United States Constitution in Philadelphia in 1787.
The Frank G. Raichle Pre-Law Center and the Political Science Department are pleased to announce that Canisius’ commemoration of Constitution Day 2018 will feature a forum on the topic “The Nomination and Confirmation Process for Supreme Court Justices”. The discussion will be led by Buffalo State College Political Science Professor Peter Yacobucci, PhD and Raichle Pre-Law Center Director Robert Klump. Attorney and Canisius Adjunct Professor Stacey Moar will moderate the event, which will be held on Wednesday, September 19 at 3:15 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge in the Richard E. Winter (’42) Student Center.
