Canisius College, in collaboration with the Erie County Medical Society (ECMS), is working to counter one of the worst doctor shortages in all of New York State.
On Wednesday night, September 5, the two institutions hosted pre-medical students from Canisius, Niagara University and the University at Buffalo to educate participants on the Medical Society’s work to support physicians in the area. The event was part of a new, ongoing effort to attract and retain physicians in Western New York.
