The East-West Community Garden at Canisius will be the topic of conversation on the next episode of “Crossroads,” scheduled for broadcast this Sunday, September 2.

Featured guests include Nancy M. Rourke, PhD, associate professor of religious studies and theology, and Veronica A. Serwacki, executive associate to the dean of arts and sciences.  The duo will discuss the history of how the East-West Community Garden was cultivated at Canisius, its significance relevant to Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ and future plans for the area surrounding the site.

“Crossroads” is a monthly radio program produced by the Network of Religious Communities and is hosted by Rev. Patrick Lynch, SJ, professor of religious studies and theology. It airs on the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 a.m. on MIX-96 (96.1 FM) and at 6:30 a.m. on JACK-FM (92.9).
