Welcome Back

Welcome to the start of the fall 2018 semester!  For returning faculty, staff and students, these early days of the semester are a time of excitement and fresh beginnings.  For many other students, this is a special day that marks the first steps of their academic lives at Canisius.

Most freshmen arrived on campus during Move-In Day last Thursday, August 23 and, after getting settled in their new rooms, headed over to the traditional Welcome Rally at the Koessler Athletic Center.

The Buffalo News and WBEN Radio 930 also covered the excitement of Move-In Day and the Welcome Rally.

A new and improved student shuttle is on the road this week, and it is not to be missed.  Fully wrapped in blue and gold by Streamline Designs, the new vehicle is fueled by natural gas and equipped with a GPS tracker, so students can see where it is on campus.

Canisius contracted with We Care for the new Canisius shuttle, which continues to operate Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 2: a.m. and Saturday – Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

The Dome Returns to its Regular Schedule

As the new semester gets underway, The Dome returns to its regular schedule of publishing three times per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
