Public Safety’s fleet of patrol cars received an upgrade last week when the department put Vehicle 40 on the road. In advance of its first official patrol, Rev. Thomas R. Slon, SJ, rector of the Canisius Jesuit community, blessed the 2018 Chevy Tahoe, which replaces an older car from the six-vehicle fleet.

Members of the campus community rolled up their sleeves and went to work sprucing up the college grounds on Monday, August 20, in advance of the students’ arrival on campus later this week. Participants in the Campus Beautification Project helped weed and prune various flower beds on the main campus and outside the Koessler Athletic Center.

- Mary Fiorella, administrative associate in the Department of Animal Behavior, Ecology and Conservation, puts her gardening skills to work outside Christ the King Chapel
