Public Safety’s fleet of patrol cars received an upgrade last week when the department put Vehicle 40 on the road. In advance of its first official patrol, Rev. Thomas R. Slon, SJ, rector of the Canisius Jesuit community, blessed the 2018 Chevy Tahoe, which replaces an older car from the six-vehicle fleet.

Participants in the Campus Beautification Project helped weed and prune various flower beds on the main campus and outside the Koessler Athletic Center.

If your department hires student employees, it will be necessary to download a new student employee form, as two new fields have been added. Approvers will need to complete these fields before sending the form to payroll.
The new student employee form can be found on the payroll resources webpage or the Canisius College templates folder. The new fields are:
The “Job Location Number” – This is where your student employee will work. Each department has a job location number. See the full list on the payroll resources webpage. Once your number has been located, please keep for your department’s future reference.
The “Approver Position Number” – This is the approver’s employee number and is located next to the name of the approver on the approver timesheet. Go into Banner Self Service and access your timesheet to locate this number.
If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Hidy in payroll at Ext. 8531. Thank you for supporting the success of our student employees!
