Free Viewing of “Dream, Girl” Today

Alumna’s documentary film showcases empowering stories of women

There’s still time to secure a front-row seat to the online premier of “Dream, Girl.”  The film launches on YouTube today, Wednesday, May 9 at 9:00 p.m. and will be available through Thursday, May 10 at 10:00 p.m.

Produced by Erin Bagwell, a 2009 graduate of the college’s digital media arts program and Video Institute, the documentary film showcases the empowering stories of women-run companies and the founders whose ambition and dedication drive them. The film features several female founders from a variety of diverse companies in tech, fashion, non-profit organizations and advertising.

“Dream, Girl” was screened in 27 different countries, including a May 2016 showing at the White House hosted by the National Women’s Business Council.  The Video Institute also hosted a red carpet event at the Montante Cultural center showcasing the film.
